Hardware Reset and Configuration of BIOS / UEFI

Unsuccessful overclocking, incorrect boot parameter changes, or a crash after an update can cause your PC or laptop to stop booting. The screen remains black, the fans spin, but the operating system fails to load. In such cases, a deep hardware reset of the BIOS (CMOS/NVRAM) settings is required.

In modern laptops and all-in-one PCs, this procedure is no longer as simple as just removing a coin-cell battery. It often requires complete disassembly of the device, disconnecting the main battery, and shorting specific service contacts (Clear CMOS) on the motherboard.

What is included in the service:

• Partial or complete disassembly of the device to access the motherboard (if necessary);
• Hardware clearing of non-volatile memory (CMOS) to remove erroneous parameters;
• Basic contact diagnostics and voltage check of the BIOS CMOS battery (CR2032);
• Entering BIOS/UEFI and performing a professional base configuration after the reset;
• Enabling essential features for modern operating systems: configuring Secure Boot, activating the TPM 2.0 module (for Windows 11), and setting appropriate storage modes (AHCI/NVMe);
• Activating XMP/EXPO profiles for maximum RAM performance.

We do not just reset settings to factory defaults; we optimize the parameters for the fastest and most stable operation of your system. Please note: this service does not include removing forgotten BIOS passwords (this requires desoldering and flashing the chip using an EEPROM programmer, which is a separate service).
