Why check your camera online
The question "why can't anyone see me on the call" tends to pop up at the worst possible moment. There are several reasons: the browser wasn't granted permission to access the camera, the wrong device was selected, or the camera is genuinely broken. This test helps you figure out which one it is straight away. If an image appears — the camera is fine, look elsewhere for the problem. If there's no image even after granting permission, the camera may be physically damaged or disabled in the BIOS. On laptops, the built-in camera often breaks after a mechanical impact to the lid. If the test shows a black screen with the camera connected, visit a service centre to diagnose the cable ribbon or the camera module itself.
